Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 10 large vegan marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over low-medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Broil the vegan marshmallows on a lined cookie sheet at 375°F for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Stir the toasted marshmallows into the syrup mixture until fully dissolved.
  4. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into another container to remove any bits.
  5. Let it cool before mixing in vanilla extract and salt. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
