  • 1 lb Chicken or Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)
  • 1 medium Green Bell Pepper (diced)
  • 8 oz Pepper Jack Cheese (shredded)
  • 6 slices Bread (cubed)
  • 8 Large Eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Mustard

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbly.
  2. Add diced onion and green bell pepper; sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the sausage mixture with cubed bread, shredded cheese, beaten eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried mustard until combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, cover tightly, and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let sit for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares and serve warm.
