  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In an electric mixer, beat butter and pumpkin puree until combined. Add sugar and mix well, then incorporate eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
  5. For the crumb topping, mix cold cubed butter with brown sugar and flour until small crumbs form.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle half of the crumb topping over it, then add the remaining batter and top with crumbs.
