  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar

  • 1¼ cup canned pumpkin puree

  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 13 tsp milk, as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix canola oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. While cooling, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and adjust consistency with milk as needed.
