  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup crispy cooked Turkey Bacon, crumbled
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meat sauce by browning ground beef in a skillet. Add onions and garlic until softened, then stir in marinara sauce and crumbled turkey bacon. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Parmesan garlic béchamel by melting butter in a saucepan, whisking in flour to create a roux, then gradually adding milk until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, cooked lasagna noodles, béchamel sauce, and cheeses repeatedly until all ingredients are used. Top with extra cheese.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 15 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let rest before serving.
