  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for cinnamon swirl
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter for cinnamon swirl, melted
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract for icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; stir until combined. Gently fold in flour and salt until just mixed.
  3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl mixture.
  4. Spread the blondie batter evenly in the prepared pan. Spoon the cinnamon mixture over the top and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely before icing.
  6. For the icing, beat softened cream cheese until smooth; gradually mix in powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy. Drizzle over cooled blondies.
